-If flowers are arranged in florist foam, top up with clean water daily, taking care to not overfill.
-If you have recieved cut flowers, trim stems diagonally about 2-3cm from the base prior to placing into water. Take care in removing all leaves that will be submerged in the water. as these contain bacteria that may quickly proifilate and spoil the water and affect the life span of the flowers.
-Position flowers away from direct heat, sunlight and fruit. Do not place on heat generating appliances such as TV's and microwaves.
-Some flowers will last longer than others, carefully remove spent flowers as this will prevent any mould or bacteria to transfer to the blooms that are still fresh.
